Who Are You Now?

Telling the stories of brain injury survivors.

  • Accessible online publication
  • UX design, UI design
  • Direction of development

Headway East London is a charity that works to support survivors of brain injuries. We worked with them to build Who Are You Now?, a project which tells the stories of their members.

Another Escape

The stories would be up to 10,000 words in length: The challenge therefore was to create a manageable long-form reading experience that could also be enjoyed by those with cognitive impairments.

The outcome for the patient at the end of the ineractive journey is a read-out of the options they’ve selected along the way. At a glance the patient can easily judge whether they are leaning towards a certain option.

V&A browser plugin

Discovering an object in a collection of millions.

  • Browser plugin
  • UX design
  • Front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

With over 4.5 million objects in its permanent collection, the V&A is the world’s largest museum of decorative arts and design. But with such a huge archive to explore, how do you discover the unknown?

In this self-initiated project, in collaboration with designer Gala Jover, we developed a concept for a browser extension which would connect to the V&A Museum’s database API, retrieve an object from the collection at random and display it, each time you open a new tab.
